Málaga Street Art

I took a trip to Málaga today with a couple of friends.  One drove, the other guided us and I took the photos.  The area known as Lagunillas is absolutely full of street art.  (The area known as Soho also abounds with street art, but of the commissioned kind.)  If interested, you can read about it here.  And if not, I hope you will enjoy the photos that follow…

Wow very impressive, thank you for sharing …. are they all in the same area or did you have to wonder around many streets to find them? Where is the best starting point?

Hi Randa, I have edited my post to state that the area I visited is Lagunillas, which forms a triangle behind the Cervantes Theatre and Plaza Merced – we walked along many streets, alleys and plazas, and quite probably missed some of the art. The area of Soho is closer to the beach and has commissioned art on the buildings.

Oh wow, I knew about the art in Soho but I had no idea about this area near Plaza de la Merced. We’re headed back to Malaga at the end of the summer so I’m putting this on my list of things to see. Thanks so much for sharing and for the wonderful photos!
