Ruta de la Lana – weekly round-up

I’ve had a request from a friend (the sort that expects action 😉) to include a weekly summary map, showing all stages walked in that period. I’m not sure how many would be interested in this info, so please let me know if you would like me to produce this on a weekly basis. Here goes for starters…

And here are links to the tracks on Wikiloc where you can see additional information for each stage.

Stage 1

Stage 2

Stage 3

Stage 4

Stage 5

Stage 6

Stage 7

I agree, seems duplicate work for you, I love the daily updates.
Gracias. We walked from Middlesbrough to Redcar, along the industrial River Tees yesterday, it was good to have our boots back on.

I agree with Alan. You are giving us so much info on a daily basis anyway, so many beautiful photos….
    Buen camino and thank you!

Blogging as you walk usually takes a fair amount of your spare Camino time already, does it not? I’m seriously considering reducing what I include in my blog this year.

That’s a fascinating illustration of just how far you’re walking. Even if you were walking 12 hours a day, that still leaves 12 – I bet you’re searching for extra things to occupy you 😛

  6. I agree that it seems to be a bit of extra work. However, it is very handy to have the links to your tracks, but that could also be done in a single list at the end of your walk. Or do you have them somewhere else on your blog? (I had a quick look and don’t see them.)

I don’t think the weekly summery is necessary your daily blog gives all the details that are required.
You spend enough time producing the daily one spend more time having a drink with Nina.

  8. How do you pull a weekly summary map from Wililoc – interested – love the app but haven’t attempted this?

I like the sommary for its overview and awe inspiring visual of jusy how big a chunk of Spain you can actually WALK in one week. Had you mastered the walking-on-water trick and gone in the opposite direction you’d have got to Africa. Wow!!
